M Street

I play bass in this super-fun Newport-based band.  We play an upbeat mix of rock, funk, dance, oldies, and we occasionally meander into uncharted territory with no warning...  For us, it's all about great fun, musicianship, and people having a really good time!

I play lead guitar and sing the James Griffin songs in this Tribute to Bread.  I've really come to like their lesser-known songs - maybe even more than their famous hits.

I play lead guitar and sing some backup in this created-for-theater Simon & Garfunkel revue.  The musicianship is pretty high in this group - I'm mostly trying to hang with these guys...  We launched in February, 2023 and are looking forward to coming to a theater near you!

I play lead guitar in this Beatles cover band.  We're not exactly a tribute  band because we don't dress up in Beatles suits and speak in fake English accents.  But we do play All Beatles All Night!

I play lead guitar in this Dan Fogelberg tribute.  Spanning styles from easy-listening to rock, bluegrass, and - OK, I'll say it - a bit of schmaltz, this has turned out to be a challenging project both musically and vocally.  In addition to regular guitar parts, I have to respectably represent dobro, pedal steel, sax, harp, oboe and bass - all on my trusty Les Paul and Taylor.  I'm looking forward to having this project in my rotation!

The Beatles, Bread and Fogelberg bands are all more-or-less the same group of guys.  I've come to think of us as "The Consortium."
